Handpainted Murals
Our artist, Richard Jones has painted beautiful pictures on the walls of all exam rooms, the dog kennel, the radiology area and the central treatment area. The idea was to create the feeling of a 19 th century old log cabin in Indiana. In the exam rooms, all walls are cedar logs except one wall area where closets used to be. Dr. Gal commissioned artist Richard Jones to create the image of an open window in each exam room, so it gives the impression that you are looking out the windows of a log cabin, viewing 19 th century rural scenery.

Details!
Almost done.

The viewer has a feeling of looking outside the window of a log cabin.
Dog Room #2
The Geist area was a bit swampy in the 19 th century. This picture gives you a feeling
that you are looking out the window to see a fisherman, a blue heron, a raccoon and
the old mill (of which there were several in the Geist area).
A closer look
The Dog Kennel
Before
And after..
Our artist handpainted this room to give the feeling of an outdoor kennel. The distant sky and country trail almost invite you to step into the picture and take a walk. A pond and underwater life with a large fish is also depicted.
Radiology Area

Our radiology services are located in the back of the hospital.
The Central Treatment area
The Central Treatment area is located in the hospital's "Inpatient Section". Since this area originally was a wooden barn we wanted to restore it that way. After we placed drywalls inside this old building, we asked our artist, Richard Jones to create a hanpainted image of an old barn inside. He even painted the wooden planks on the walls and on the ceiling, including several "peepholes"!
