"It was always the intention of Dr. Sandor Gal (founder of Log Cabin Animal Hospital) to create a Geist Visitor Center at this old and beautiful log cabin (built in 1938). Last year Log Cabin Animal Hospital and atGeist.com (http://www.atgeist.com/ , owned by Tom Britt) have teamed up to offer the GEIST VISITOR's CENTER in the clinic?��s front lobby. Many artifacts circa the beginning of Geist Reservoir area on display, including antique maps of the area and photos from the 1800?��s. In addition, this will be the location to visit for ?��atGeist Community Newsletters?�� and ?��2005 and 2006 Geist Directory?�� copies and the "Geist Maps".

?��The idea for this is to be a community place to gather and talk,?�� said Dr. Gal. ?��It is inviting for visitors and people who want to do business.?�� He stresses that his clinic is a museum as well as a hospital, and he thoroughly enjoys public interest in his collection and the historic building.
