Log Cabin Animal Hospital 's 4 veterinarians are ready to provide full-service medicine for your beloved pets. Our Log Cabin Vets have a range of special interests, including dentistry, surgery, ophthalmology, emergency and critical care, general medicine, internal medicine, dermatology, reproductive sciences, infectious diseases, acupuncture and alternative medicine. All of Log Cabin Animal Hospital 's doctors care for dogs and cats, and Dr. Shelly Zacharias treats exotic mammals and birds as well.

Previous activities

Teaching high school chemistry, then graduate classes in Endocrinology before attending veterinary school. Dr. Zacharias was extensively involved in activities to place homeless dogs and cats in new homes, including running a "second chance" home of her own for many years.

Special interest

Internal medicine, ophthalmology, rehabilitation and geriatrics, exotic mammals and birds.

Personal interest

Hobbies include reading, snow skiing, working out, and any activity with her pets, especially walks and hikes with her dogs and a special cat who thinks she is a dog.

Pets

Dogs, rabbits and cats.

Boating and fishing, my husband and Ilike to play darts with our friends, watching my kids play sports and spending all the time I canwith my family.

Help finding homes for animals in need, I help with my localanimal control to nurse kitten that have lost their mothers so that they can be adoptedout to a great family.

Jada Louise - she's a Beagle mix and she 2 years old, I adopted her from animal control, She's a great familymember.
