Log Cabin Animal Hospital's 3 veterinarians are ready to provide full-service medicine for your beloved pets. Our Log Cabin Vets have a range of special interests, including dentistry, surgery, ophthalmology, emergency and critical care, general medicine, internal medicine, dermatology, reproductive sciences, infectious diseases, acupuncture and alternative medicine.

Summary of qualifications/accomplishments
- Comprehensive experience diagnosing, treating, and performing surgeries on dogs and cats, including successfully implanting a human pacemaker into a dog. Made local and national headlines with appearances on Maury Povich, Inside Edition, Leeza Gibbon, and locally was one of the top ten stories of the year.
- Actively participates in community pet events, including presenting talks about the profession to local clubs and organizations.
- Trained veterinary students during their externships and allowed high school students to job shadow.
- Appeared frequently as a guest on a local news program, "Pet Watch", informing viewers of various pet diseases and problems.
- Extensive background in performing surgeries such as thyroidectomies, ACL rupture repair, Enterotomies Intestinal Anastamosis, FHO's, and plastic surgery procedures.
- Strong interest in learning and performing additional surgeries, diagnostic procedures, and techniques.

Hiking, bird watching, rollerblading, yoga, traveling, reading, and attempting to run!
Pets:
I have two kitties (sister and brother) named Wren and Kestrel. They were left at night on the doorstep three years ago to the ER hospital I worked at. Somebody missed out on these two, because they are so sweet and friendly! I named them after birds because they sit at the window at chatter to the birds outside.
